Cultured forest is the predominating type of landscape in Austria. The large extent of this man shaped biome represents a cultural institution itself. 70m² of this cultured forest, including trees, forest floor and rocks, were reerected in its original state in the courtyard of the Museumsquartier Vienna as part of the Project CCCushion.

The forest works as stage for the perfomance of Kabinett ad Co. The setting draws both performer and obserer into a scene of pure Austrian dramaturgy.
